Welcome to

July 2022

Hi, I’m Dr. Brian Collins, orthopedic and pelvic health physical therapist and owner of Revitalize 3D: Therapy, Wellness, & Performance. I’m happy you’re here. I know firsthand what it’s like to deal with pain, having dealt with chronic pain, surgeries, and mental health issues. Let me assure you that there is hope. You can feel better, live with less pain, and return to the activities you enjoy.

I am a military veteran, tactical and fitness athlete coach, and Doctor of Physical Therapy. During my first deployment in Iraq, I hurt my right shoulder due to stresses brought upon by the job I had to do. After that deployment, I had shoulder surgery which required me to do physical therapy to get back to where I could effectively do my job. This experience is what first turned me onto the idea of being a physical therapist.

While at physical therapy school, I continued to coach CrossFit, which opened my eyes to the challenges many of you are dealing with, lingering postpartum issues, stress and pain from work, and injuries from recreation, naming a few.

Many factors contribute to pain. Too often, I see people with unresolved issues that primary care providers say may get better over time end up being frustrated with pain or losing hope that they can get back to the life they want to live. Over time this hopelessness or frustration bleeds over into multiple areas of their life. Your ailments affect more than just your body, and I believe it’s crucial to avoid the tunnel vision often seen in the healthcare system and address the many contributing factors so that people can make lasting changes in their lives.

With experience working in skilled nursing facilities, I know firsthand how awful end-of-life can be, with limited resources and insurance restrictions. I strive to change people’s lives long before they reach that point. We are all old people in training. I want to create resiliency in my patients’ lives by giving them the necessary tools and behavioral change strategies so they can continue to improve their quality of life long after they have left my care.

I aim to empower people with the skills, knowledge, and confidence so they can manage their life’s physical stresses. Utilizing a wellness-focused, multidimensional approach, I evaluate, diagnose, treat, and give a personalized plan to help people overcome barriers to success so they can enjoy an active, fulfilling life.
